movie posters

Matrix:

On this poster he movie title is written in a different text to the rest of the poster it is easy to read also it isn’t encroaching onto the picture on the poster.

On the poster we have four of the main actors and actress but only has two names on the poster.

The poster is a very accurate reflection to the moods and theme that are used in the film its self.

The poster is a standard rectangle with the four main people with the mai

n character at the front in line with the title.

The slogan is referents to the release date of the film. Also there is a list of names of actors and the company.

The poster is of a film with an idea that is some thing new which is exciting.

Jaws 3D:

The poster is a hand drawn picture with the big movie title.

The slogan is really good for what the movie is, and I like it.

At the bottom there is the classic cast list and company.

The story is original but cheesy.

The poster isn’t an accurate to the film and doesn’t give any narrative clue apart from having a shark in the film.

The poster is the classic shape of the rectangle with the main picture and title together.

slinkachu's life and work

  • 28/m/uk 5ft9 started in 2006 with little peopleremodelling and painting of miniature model train set characters, which I then place and leave on the street. It is both a street art installation project and a photography project. The street-based side of my work plays with the notion of surprise and I aim to encourage city-dwellers to be more aware of their surroundings. In 2008 I started the ‘Inner City Snail’ project, involving the decoration of snails that I find around London.
  • the way he would of used the micro setting on a digital camera and got very close to the object which was in this case was little people and snails.
  • · Examples of advertising photos and small studio/model pictures that you can find.

today we took some pictures of each other
using this three point light set up.

these are some of the pictures we took that show us in motion.

Muybrige's motion workshop

Today in class we recreated his motion studies by setting up 4 cameras in a row and with one person walking past the camera a picture would be taken and this would show the different stages in the persons walk. We did this because Muybrige's motions studies were very important part of the history of photography.

photo lesson 2 pictures

in these pictures i have used different shutter speeds and apertures.
First picture is a very fast shutter speed but a small aperturs number which means a good picture which hasent blured but is very dark.

The second picture is of my mate and I used an avarege shutter speed and aperture which means a good light but i was in a light stair well and when he moved it blurred.

In the third picture i have an average shutter speed
but a big open aperture
which makes the picture defined but too dark.

lastly the fourth picture is a slow shutter speed which lets the light in but i used a small aperture to try and restrict some of the light.

photo lesson 2

Today we talked about shutter speed and aperture both of these really alter the out come of any picture you take and getting the right combination of each can make a perfect picture or completely Reine it.
